Audit and Assurance

Associated with our IT Effectiveness, Strategy and Transformation services, we can conduct brief reviews to help you monitor progress against targets, validate investment decisions or gain assurance over major change projects.

Blueprint Review, monitoring progress against the IT Effectiveness targets, defined as part of an IT Transformation programme.  It can be used as part of the management of that programme, or on a periodic basis following the programme’s completion.

SITE Audit, involving a brief Strategic IT Effectiveness Assessment, conducted prior to a major funding decision.  This provides assurance that the organisation concerned is able to spend that money well and can achieve the desired return on investment.

IT Strategy Review, reviewing progress against an existing IT Strategy, updating strategies or plans that are out-of-date, redefining timescales and costings and refining the overall strategic direction.

Business Case Review, assessing a major IT investment decision, in relation to the strength of the financial case, how realistic its ambitions are and whether the benefits specified are achievable.

Programme Assurance, conducted at regular points throughout a major IT investment programme, offering guidance and advice to Programme Managers, as well as assurance to the Programme Board that the benefits stated in the business case may still be achieved.

Post-Implementation Review, carried out following a major IT investment, to assess whether, or to what degree, the business case has been achieved.
